The Teachers Service Commission, TSC Registration process is different for Kenyans and Non-Kenyans. TSC registration is an online registration, the commission does Not Accept Paper Applications.
The Management of Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has activated the Teachers Online System for accepting new registration(s) for 2023. The Teachers Online system is a web-based system accessible using any browser preferably Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
TSC Fees
For New Registration a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 1050/- paid during the process through E-Citizen government payment methods (MPesa, Airtel Money, KCB Cash, Equity Cash, E-Agent) is required before submitting your application.
APPLICATION FEES WILL BE PAID DURING THE PROCESS THROUGH GOVERNMENT PAY BILL BUSINESS NUMBER 222222 OR APPROVED GOVERNMENT METHODS.
TSC New Registration 2023 for both Kenyans and Non-Kenyans
As aforementioned, the requirements for the registration of Kenyan citizens are different from the registration requirements.
Here are some things worth noting.
- All sections of this registration application MUST be completed in full, especially the required fields.
- You can save part of this form and complete it at a later time if necessary.
- Scan and Attach Only the Required Documents:
- Only original documents should be scanned and uploaded.
- For Expatriate Teachers, attach a letter of clearance from the Ministry of Education Vetting Committee.
TSC New Registration For Kenyan Citizens
Applications for registration for a TSC number are processed within 30 days of the date of submission. Here is how Kenyan Citizens can register:
- To register for a TSC Number as a teacher, visit https://teachersonline.tsc.go.ke/
- Click New Teacher Registration:- Citizen
- Enter the following details into their respective fees:
- ID Number
- Surname
- Personal mobile phone numbers
- KRA Pin
- Category (i.e. ECD, Primary or Post Primary)
- KCSE grade
- KCSE Year
- Confirmation that you are a trained teacher
- Click next to go to the step that involves the provision of basic details.
- Click Next, At this point all the certificates should be uploaded i.e. primary certificate, secondary certificate and tertiary certificates. All the required certificates must be uploaded for one to proceed to the next step.
- Fill in the details, choose the respective document and click save document to upload. To view the uploaded document click on the view icon, to delete the document click on the delete icon. The teacher is required to upload the following documents:
- id,
- KRA pin,
- payment evidence,
- GP 69 medical letter,
- certificate of good conduct,
- transcripts in one PDF,
- passport photo,
- affidavit if any of the names differ or are missing from the documents
- certificate for persons with disability
- clearance commission of higher education
- Click on the next button to proceed to the final step shown below.
- In the final step, fill in of payment details, scores of the main and other subjects plus the number of hours trained for each subject. Click on the Save and Finalize button to view the summary page.
Note: You can go back to edit your information,
The summary page can be printed for record keeping.
TSC New Registration For Non-Kenyan Citizens
Applications for registration for a TSC number are processed within 30 days of the date of submission. Here is how Kenyan Citizens can register:
- To register for a TSC Number as a teacher, visit https://teachersonline.tsc.go.ke/
- Click Teacher Registration:- Non-Citizen
- Enter the following details into their respective fees:
- passport number
- Surname
- Personal mobile phone numbers
- KRA Pin
- Confirmation that you are a trained teacher
- Click next to go to the step that involves the provision of basic details.
- Click Next, At this point all the certificates should be uploaded equivalent to the primary certificate, secondary certificate and tertiary certificates. All the required certificates must be uploaded for one to proceed to the next step.
- Fill in the details, choose the respective document and click save document to upload. To view the uploaded document click on the view icon, to delete the document click on the delete icon. The teacher is required to upload the following documents:
- passport,
- KRA pin,
- payment evidence,
- GP 69 medical letter,
