GDE Backend refers to the part of a computer system or application that is not directly accessed by the user, typically responsible for storing and manipulating data.
The Management of the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has created a backend for authenticated users to manage/manipulate admission information.
GDE Backend is only accessible to authenticated users. Authentication requires that you activate your account.
How to Login to GDE Backend 2024
Before logging into your account, you must have activated your account. Here are the steps to follow to activate your account:
- Go to Backend Login page – https://backend.gdeadmissions.gov.za.
- Click on ‘Activate Account’.
- Then enter your PERSAL number in the field provided to begin activating your account.
On activation, you can log into your account with your persal number and password through the same link above.
Furthermore
If you were not able to log in then one of the following could be the reason. You entered the wrong details into the login form or Your account is not yet active.
However, to know exactly why you cannot access your profile, please contact the department. Not to forget that there is the ability to reset your password with your unique persal number.
